1940 Detective Office - Jesse Squire

For this project I decided to create a scene that would focus primarily on atmosphere and sense of place. In particular I wanted to focus on creating mood through lighting (and absence of light) and I felt the perfect environment to do this would be a period piece Detective Office.
The scene is created entirely in unreal engine 4 and all materials were created using Photoshop, Substance Designer and Substance Painter with the except of a freely available cardboard texture, however this was heavily modified in photoshop. All models are created using Maya and Max, along with slight alterations in zbrush later down the pipeline.
Overall I am happy with the overall lighting I managed to achieve in the scene however I do feel like I could have spent some more time paying attention to the assets I would be creating as I feel I could have pushed myself further in this regard.
Materials were heavily edited within unreal engine itself, therefor some visual fidelity may be reduced in quality within the Sketchfab Previews.
